Develop 360 Waves Part 2/2
By AheroJPG
3 Month Program For Developing 360 Waves
Month 1
The First Month you should get a light caesar Haircut. After the Haircut wash your hair with One of the shampoos or natural Liquid soaps that I mentioned in part 1.(Remeber to follow the technique of washing your hair that I describe in part 1) After you are done washing your hair this is the time you should brush(Of course use a clean brush).
Month 1 is very important because this is the time for new wave developers to brush their hair rigorously(properly in the right direction for proper brushing)and nonstop literally. This Is your conditioning phase. You have to condition your hair in order to develop waves so BRUSHING IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST!! throughout the day make it a habit to have brush each side at least an hour. Although it depends on your hair texture your best bet is to brush rigorously with a soft boar bristle brush. When you are about to go to sleep I strongly suggest you use some form of conditioning for your hair. Shea butter is my favorite 100%Natural and /or Organic Shea butter is a must. Remeber natural or Organic if not both and remember make sure its 100% No added nothing. You should gently massage your hair with shea butter everywhere, make sure you use a small amount because you should be using this everyday for the first month to month and a half. Then Tie on your Durag.
After two weeks you should switch to a medium boar bristle. But that depends if your hair has grown enough so repeated brushing does not hurt your scalp. If your hair is ready for the switch,Do It!!.Medium Brushes(In my opinion) are very effective in developing waves faster or if you already have and are looking for deeper waves.
Now by the end of the month depending on whether your hair has grown enough you should head to the barber for a dark caesar. If your hair has not grown enough for you to want to get a haircut go a few more days or weeks until you feel you ar eready for a cut, remember dark caesar cut this time.
Month 2
Now that you have your fresh dark caesar you should be hydrating your hair throughout the day while brushing using soft or a medium brush (Rigorously of course). What I am about to tell you is very important and very overlooked. But when you are Hydrating your hair or your body It is Very Important!! that you use some sort of Filtration method that elimates Chlorine and other harsh contaminents that are in "Tap" water. These contaminants dry your hair out and damage skin and affect your body in many ways so it is very important that you use some shower filtration method or if thats not possible hydrate your hair with bottled spring or distilled water. This once again is very important because properly filtered water can help dramatically reduce those contaminants that strip your hair of moisture. Brands that I reccomend for filtering are Ewater and Aquasana. Yes they are a bit pricey but it is very worth the price.
But continuing with month 2 make sure that you are hydrating your hair every time you brush(preferably with filtered water or distilled). Keep In mind that getting shapeups is perfectly fine. Then when you are about to go to bed once again gently masasage hair with shea butter and then tie on durag.
Month 3
This is your "wolfing" month. Let your hair grow with continued use of brushing and hydration. Also during your wolfing month it's better to gently massage the hair and scalp with shea butter twice a day but remeber one of the days always is for your night treatment.
When you are "wolfing" your hair its better to use a hard brush for brushing. When using the hard brush its better not to brush as much, and focus more on how you brush your hair. When your hair begins to wolf. When brushing you should pay attention to whatever sides needs more brushing. If you are not able to see a wave pattern. on any side go back to using your medium brush and brush until a pattern is formed.
After your hair has become unbearably wolfed to the point where you can bearly see your waves on the top or sides. This is the perfect time to head to your babrber for another dark caesar. After the haircut wash your hair with natural liquid soap or shampoo(The ones that I list). Then after the washing gently, brush the hair with a soft boar bristle brush , Apply some 100% Natural and/or Organic Shea Butter. When you look in the mirror you will be amazed (As I was) At the way your waves look. From there on you should be brushing your hair routinely and apply some kind of moisturizer before you go to bed and remember to always put on your durag before bed. Now here is a rundown of what you should be using to greatly assist you in developing 360 waves.
Quality Boar Bristle Brushes - Soft,Med,Hard
Durags - Regular durags are just fine, no special durags are needed
Hair product - 100% Natural and/or Organic Shea Butter, Grapeseed Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Olive Oil(preferably in a dark bottle, dark green,),Sesame Oil, Sweet Almond Oil.
Shampoos - Dr Bronners All in One Natural Liquid Soaps,Morrcoco Method International Shampoos+ Conditioners, Naturesbrand.com shampoos, conditioners, Buy three shampoos and rotate regularly
Shower Filtration - When dealing with your hair and skin when you shower your loading your body up full of toxins such as chlorine, flouride and other contaminants that really hurt the body. Shower Filtration is a definate must , Not just for your hair but for your skin and overall health.
Visual Aid- Optional but very effective. Basically have a picture of the wave pattern you desire and constantly look at it when you brush your hair and look at it throughout the day. Use it as Motivation
If you cannot do all of these that's fine but if you are only able to do a few I strongly suggest you get a Sower filter and 100% organic or Natural Shea Butter.
After you have completed the program contact me and tell me what you think of it.
